About Galerie Neukölln

by Galerie Neukölln
Published Jul 30, 2024

The Galerie Neukölln is located in the historic rooms of the monumental former savings bank building at Karl-Marx-Straße 107 in Berlin-Neukölln. Embedded in the academic environment of a university-oriented language institute, the Neukölln Gallery also forms the core of a modern, interactive, and self-confident Neukölln. Here, language unfolds in culturally discursive processes. International art projects emerge here through creative and linguistic exchange.

The exhibitions at the Galerie Neukölln are accompanied by a cultural-didactic event program. Art spaces are revealed through immediate self-experience and expand through the direct participation of visitors.

The Neukölln Gallery was founded in 2024 by Samuel Portillo Montes and Johannes Boßhammer.
